Summer Mesh Tee
Two mesh rectangles, a boat neck and little sleeves worked around the armholes. Airy and quick in cotton.

- DK (3) cotton, linen or bamboo.

- G-6 (4 mm)
- Sizes
- Any adult size. Example: bust 37 in, finished 41 in (104 cm).

- 18 sts (dc and ch) and 9 rows = 4 in (10 cm) in mesh
- Yarn needed
- About 700 yd (640 m) DK cotton.

Instructions
Front and back (make 2)
Ch (example: 94). Rows 1–3: Sc (UK dc) in 2nd ch from hook and each ch (93), then 2 more rows of sc.
Mesh row: Ch 2, turn. Dc (UK tr) in first st, *ch 1, sk (UK miss) next st, dc in next st; rep from * to end.
Next rows: Ch 2, turn. Dc in first dc, *ch 1, sk ch-1 sp, dc in next dc; rep from * to end.
Work to 20 in (51 cm). Work 1 row of sc. Fasten off.
Finishing
- Seam 5 in at each shoulder.
- Seam the sides from the hem up to 8 in below the shoulder.
- Sleeves: join at the underarm. *Dc, ch 1* evenly around the armhole, 1 mesh per row end (example: about 36 mesh around). Work 6 rounds of mesh, then 1 round of sc.
- Neck: 1 round of sc. Weave in ends and block.
Designer’s notes
- Wear it over a camisole, or line it with a cotton knit tee.
- Longer sleeves: add rounds, decreasing 2 sts at the underarm every 3rd round.
