Ch 19 and work 7 rows.
Instructions
Row 1
Ch (example: 25). Dc (UK tr) in 4th ch from hook (the skipped 3 ch count as a dc), *sk (UK miss) 2 ch, 3 dc in next ch; rep from * to last 3 ch, sk 2 ch, 2 dc in last ch.
Pattern
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn. 3 dc in each gap between clusters across, dc in top of the turning ch.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn. Dc in first gap, 3 dc in each gap across to the last gap, dc in last gap, dc in top of turning ch.
Repeat rows 2–3, changing colour every 2 rows.
Finishing
- Weave in ends along the edges.
- Add fringe in all the stripe colours.
Designer’s notes
- Change colour on the last yo of the final dc of the row.
- Same stitch makes a blanket: use the calculator for chain length (multiple of 3 + 1).
