Plant Pot Cozy
A sc cover that tapers to fit a real flowerpot. The Increase & Decrease Evenly tool spaces the side increases.

Instructions
Base
Sc (UK dc) flat circle in a spiral: 6 sc in a magic ring, +6 each round to the base count (example: 60).
Sides
Next rnd: Sc in back loop only of each st.
Sc around, working an increase round every 4th round. Use the Increase & Decrease Evenly (Crochet, In the round) for each one: 60 → 64 → 68 → 72 → 76 → 80.
Try it on the pot as you go; continue to the rim.
Top
Last rnd: sl st (UK ss) in each st. Fasten off.
Finishing
- Weave in ends.
- Pop the pot in (put a saucer inside if the pot has a drainage hole).

- Stripes every 3 rounds look great in cotton.
