C2C Pillow Cover
Two corner-to-corner squares joined around a pillow pad. Diagonal stripes, or a pixel design from graph paper.

Work a 10 × 10 tile swatch (or start the first panel and measure at 10 tiles).
Instructions
Panels (make 2)
Work a C2C square as in the Corner-to-Corner (C2C) Blanket: increase to 19 tiles, then decrease at both ends back to 1.
Stripe by changing colour every 2 or 3 diagonal rows.
Join
Hold the panels WS together. Sc (UK dc) through both layers around 3 sides, 3 sc at each corner. Insert the pad. Sc the fourth side closed.
Finishing
- Weave in ends before joining.
- Steam the panels square before joining.
Designer’s notes
- Envelope back instead of a second panel: make two 15 × 10 in rectangles in sc and overlap them.
- Plan a pixel design on a 19 × 19 grid.
