Deep waffle texture worked in the round. Thick enough to replace a scarf.

Instructions
Foundation
Ch (example: 84), join into a ring without twisting. Rnd 1: Ch 2, dc (UK tr) in each ch. Join.
Waffle
Rnd 2: Ch 2, *FPdc (UK FPtr) around next st, dc in next 2 sts; rep from *. Join.
Rnd 3: Ch 2, *dc in next st, FPdc around next 2 sts; rep from *. Join.
Repeat rnds 2–3 until 9.5 in (24 cm).
Edges
Work 1 rnd of sc (UK dc). Fasten off. Work 1 rnd of sc around the foundation edge too.
Finishing
- Weave in ends.
- Don’t block flat.
Designer’s notes
- The chain at the start of a round doesn’t count as a stitch; join to the first real stitch.
- For a looser drape, go up a hook size.
